2010 Subaru Outback Interior Design

http://car-interior-design.blogspot.com/Jackson, MS Subaru Dealer, Paul Moak Subaru, is proud to announce the 2010 Subaru Outback has won yet another award since its redesign and release in the fall of 2010. The 2010 Outback was the recipient of a 2010 Auto Interior of the Year Award from Ward’s Auto. Ward’s analyzed 40 vehicles that are either brand new for 2010 or have been significantly updated, and the 2010 Subaru Outback won for the “popular-priced car under $29,999” category.
Ward's Auto Interior of the Year Awards, North America's only honors for excellence in automotive interiors, features winners in pricing and vehicle type categories, as well as special award winners for design, versatility and brand expression. "For years, the focus on safety and functionality has given us drab, uninspired vehicle interiors," said Ward's AutoWorld Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter. "This year's winners show style and original design is becoming as important inside the vehicle as it already is to the sheet metal outside."

A team of eight Ward's editors evaluated 40 vehicles that have either all-new or significantly upgraded interiors this year. The vehicles – both car and truck – were divided into segments, with one winner named in each category. In addition, Ward's bestowed special awards for outstanding achievements in key areas. Having both designations allowed judges to rank vehicles against the entire field, regardless of segment and price. Judging criteria included aesthetics and design harmony, comfort, driver information, ergonomics, fit and finish, materials, safety and overall value.
The 2010 Subaru Outback has received tremendous attention from Mississippi car shoppers since it arrived to Paul Moak Subaru in late 2009. A versatile selection of 2010 Outback vehicles are now in-stock for customers to test drive and purchase. The 2010 Subaru Outback has won many awards for its safety, design, and overall performance. Motor Trend named the 2010 Subaru Outback as the 2010 SUV of the year. This award followed Subaru’s win in 2009 with the Subaru Forester and marked the first time in Motor Trend history for an auto company to win the award two years in a row. The 2010 Outback is also named as a “Top Safety Pick” from the IIHS.

The interior lines echo the dynamic flow of the sheet metal. For improved comfort, the designers have carved out extra legroom and headroom (whilst lowering the overall height of the vehicle). The feeling of spaciousness in the cabin is further enhanced by the new dual-panel panoramic sunroof, benefitting front and rear passengers. The center panel can either tilt open or can open completely by sliding up and over the rear panel.
