Camaroto Firebird Body Kit

A while back, several renderings popped up on the Web showing a modernized Pontiac Firebird, a car that would never materialize at GM thanks to the death of the Pontiac brand. Years later, Trans Am Depot has taken it upon itself to turn those designs into a reality with the help of the new Chevrolet Camaro.

As muscle car fans know, the Camaro and Firebird have shared a common platform since the beginning, and by the time they were put down in 2002, their specs were nearly identical. In light of that, Kevin Morgan made his new Firebird designs out of Photoshopped 2010 Camaros. Because the reaction has been so positive, Trans Am Depot has decided to build a body kit based on his designs. The Phoenix T/A body kit will make its real-world debut later this month at the 2009 Trans Am Nationals in Dayton, Ohio.
